I haven't tried the Weiss but tried a few others and I can tell you sonically the Bryston BP-1 blows the doors off anything else by a country mile.Maybe there are others just as good but I haven't heard any.However it is not an all in one solution...

Have you ever tried a PUREPOWER device feeding something like the Torus RM20 which has a huge transformer and then out to the components? The Torus stores a lot of energy in those huge transformers. Do you feel this would have any merit...
