Paul,
I do not know anything about Vitus phonostages but it is what it is. Manufactures each few months manufacture new products and it is given to media publicists to sell it. It is what they do for leaving – to inform public that new product is available. What they say in trims of their judgment is irrelevant in some case they did not even used the products. I know a big name reviewer who reviewed very expensive tube amps and gave excellent review but according to the amp manufacture the amp were made defective and were not operational in the reviewer house. I know a reviewer who reviewed/listen speakers over a phone …from UK. I know another famous reviewer who was revered a phonostage but he did not have a TT for years and years. This is all a circus made for Morons to subscribe. It is not to mention that if you actually sit with Framer and like and look at the sound they are accustom to then you will learn that this fish swims in very shallow water.
Zako, you might be misinformed, please read my Framer/Continuums saga not as my fantasy but as chronicle.

It is irrelevant if Continuem turntable was a loser product or not. What is relevant is that when Continuums was given to Framer then it was targeted to be $25K-$30K. It was purely Framer action to jack the price to $115K – the pack of the hi-fi leaches need to be nourished. The Morions subscribe Stereophile, read the idiotic articles but they do not understand that if tomorrows some kind of smart epidemic illness exterminate all reviewers, editors, marketing pimps, distributors and the rest audio plague then not only priced would dive 4 time lower but the manufacturer would be able do MUCH more interesting products.
I do not know what Vitus phonostages are but a few years ago I made a rule – any product that that Mr. Framer took under his wing is garbage that need to be discarded. It they were a serious company and they had serious product then they would not go so low as to let Framer to review their products. If Vitus needs the Framer’s help to be sold then… it does need help and they have something to hide….. Rgs, The Cat
