Patricia Kopatchinskaja – what a beautiful creature.

I discovered this week an absolutely wonderful young violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja

She is still unfortunately having tendencies for more or less contemporary repertoire but her capacity to make music interesting are unmatched. If you are in Boston then today and tomorrow she plays with Zander Bartok’s Second Concert and you are crazy if you miss it.

Thanks, Romy!

So pure I find I do not resist her at all, so it immediately permeates me.  I like what she has to say about the music, as well.

It would be interesting to hear how she handles Sibelius.

I look forward to spending some time with her.

Best regards,
Paul
