June in Boston with Early Music Festivals

This is beyond wonderful. Two festivals are running now in Boston:

Rockport Chamber Music Festival: http://www.rcmf.org/

Boston Early Music Festival: http://www.bemf.org/

WGBH is running live and live-to-tape broadcasts from both of them. The quality of live sound is superb and some of the performances are very interesting. It is so much music that do not even record it… Right now they broadcasted live the Baldasare Gallupi’s  Harpsichord Sonata III with Luca Guglielmi – insane work and insanely wonderful played. I probably need to record this thing and 2-3 works per day would be definitely the “keepers”.

I have an annual early music festival around the corner in Regensburg, but I never managed hearing Hesperion XXI live. You seem to have it better. grrr
BTW: go there and find someone else who does the recording for you.
