CEC TL0 3.0 trasport

Say whatever you want but this company does have balls. To make nowadays 44.1K only transport for over $30K is a very strong statement. From a different perspective it might be good thing to do as many of today high sampling rate formats do not sound so good. Anyhow, considering that the CEC older TL0 2.0 was heads and shoulders THE best sounding machine ( in fact it is VERY surprising how much CD could be make interesting by a good transport) I wonder how much the new TL0 3.0 would be better. I did not read the article carefully yet but I am very much look forward to read and to think about it further.

I do think that the new TL0 3.0 shall be VERY interesting but there is a thing that might screw up this new wonderful transport. Unfortunately the "art" of CD making is almost dead and most of the CDs and 44.1 lager of high resolution disks today are pure garbage. The today's CDs do not require any good transports to play them but they require a gun to shot the idiots who make them. A recording that was released in 90s and re-released in let say 2009 would be hardly recognizable. IT is ironic that in 90s when we were bitching about the "horrible" CD sound we did not know that in 10-15 years we will be looking at those "vintage" CDs and would consider them as highly desirable. So, for somebody who managed to buy a cot of CD in past the new TL0 3.0 might be a good toy to play them.

Cec tl5 transport
Is anyone familiar with this CEC transport? The page says it sells for $3000. I assume it is a Euro model only.
