fiogf49gjkf0d As have some free time and I sit in a comfortable chair with pipe or cigar to “observe the internet” I frequently look at some audio sites that I over the years designated and worth observing. What I feel over the cause of last probably 2-3 years that those internet “patrolling” become less and less stimulating and for a good few month I acutely do not invest time to see what is going on with audio out there. It is because I have no interest in audio subjects – I do. The real problem is that people out there mostly are not able to generate context worth my attention.
95% of all audio writing out there is product-centric. I am not talking about (so-called) professional audio sites. They are 100% about recognizing and engaging of new audio products and to me to read this crap I like eating a previously vomited food. I have absolutely no interest about “products”, I do not buy and do not sell anything and I do not care how new audio toy would enrich my “understanding” of AC/DC music. Years ago I propose to talk about audio without mentioning brands and models but I was declared by Morons as a “troll”, whatever it means.
The result is that there is virtually nothing to read in audio. I do not subscribe any periodic and it feels like internet does not offer a lot….
