Paradoxes of my Racism.
fiogf49gjkf0d

I just discovered it, somebody pointed it out in another thread, and it is so funny.

I am commonly known for hating Russian tubes. I mean there were very few tubes that were designed in Russia and most of the Russian tubes t tubes are juts replica of Western tubes. If you have options to compare Western tubes to the identical Russian tubes that you know that sonic, stability and the quality of characteristics of Russian tubes mostly is inferior to western tube. Sure, there are some exceptions and there are some phenomenal Russian tubes but they are not known wildly. So, I generally hate Russian tubes, so many people with ears in Russians BTW. Still my Melquiades amplifier ended up to use ONLY Russian tubes.

I am commonly known for hating British sound. I do not even like the sound of British orchestras and the “sound” of the British composers. In audio British sound is always too “Scandinavian” for my taste. Still my Macondo uses practically all British drivers! Isn’t it ironic?

What would you do different if you do it again?
fiogf49gjkf0d
I do not see where I was wrong all this time. It is funny that you touched the subject of “shredded playback”. It is my very favorite subject and I very frequently discuss it or think about it. I uselessly us the concept of fire- what would you do if the entire playbacks burned down and if you built it again what would you do different? I think it was even played at this site a few times….

I do not what I will realize later in my life but what you say is words-by-words reflect what I was saying a few years back, and I am in my 40s…

Hi
Zako
I'd like to mention that in the room audio playbacks and performing in an orchestras we have the same problems we have in general audio playback
for instance audio playback in orchestras differ much from place to place, and it much depends on people performing instruments and "intruments"  plus acoustic characters of the space and background noise and etc.
Yes I have enjoyed many good orchestral works and hated some...
BTW for me nothing can compare with GOOD playback no matter it is being in orchestra or audio room ...

best

fiogf49gjkf0d
Unicorn,,, We used to have PLAYBACK PARTIES after a concert,,All members of the orchestra would sit around and listen to the performance till three in the morning,,,After a few drinks and snaks everything sounded good,,The members of the orchestra were two fisted drinkers,,..
