What's left of Vitavox
fiogf49gjkf0d
My understanding : This is simply what's left of the original Vitavox. The original founder had an interst in quality audio; the current owner(s) seem to have an interst in government contracts ($?). I'm not sure, but seem to remember that the current owner(s) is the son of the original founder.

Fortunately, the non-military-oriented audio part of the business (and tooling) was sold off to someone who has the idea of catering to those interested in the type of products which are often the subject of our attention.

There is an old thread somewhere on this site dealing specifically with this saga. Currently though, there seems to be no news as to progress, or whether this person (or people) will actually come through... I very much hope he will.

It is this section, labelled "Pressure drivers", that caught my attention...

"Still to be done" is not exactly encouraging, but does hint at promise. But if the serious audio part of the business is in someone else's hands I suppose it is not helpful.
