Cant really get why Lamm always underestimate the output impedance. A simple cathode follower would be of help and wont compromise the results. Boulder 1008 has 5ohm....

Tnks Romy, as a matter of facts I cant hear sensible differences either... Wd eventually immagine that the tighter the thread, the worst for motor shaft. If I can take the chance of hving yr advise, wd ask about possible improvement in using a vibrap...

Tks Romy, well...the SME has actually a mass of 9.5gr. Could eventually use a Micro MA505 with a slightely higher mass (guess around 11gr), have u ever tried it with the Shelter ? Was also wondering if the Ortofon T30 cd be used with some sense to ch...

Good day, asking experts if it's worth mounting a Shelter 901 on a SME 309 arm. Resonance frequency shuld get upto to 12.86hz (being 17.6gr arm+cartridge and 9cu Shelter's compliance) which guess too high. Any guideline ? Many tks for advise. Cia...
