Hi thereI've heard them a few times driven by Audio Research power plant amp and their best tube CD player. My friendly dealer explained to me principles of Vandersteen design. Small woofer (because big one isn't fast enough ??) with its own plate am...

I have no idea how a “typical
first order speaker” should sound. The Vandersteen insisting of
using first order is a very good thing. I am a very stron...

the Vandersteen 7 remains the most satisfying cone speakers in mybook for the past few years. It does not sound like a typical first order speaker. Richard got it right somehow and no its not the 11band bass eq that does the tricks....

As you can imagine, the ML2s simply surprised me. I thought only of optimizing my speakers, what might drive them to their best, to see what they could do with fewer amp-induced limitations. And the ML2s have done much of what I want...

I have been working on my system. I post sparse as I need to listen a lot before doing any changes or decide on anything.I have changed the 1000hz JMLC horn to a 1400hz JMLC horn and the results are better. I have better integration with the Fostex t...

I chose the EdgarHorns for fairly simple reasons. I have listened to them and I loved the way they sound. They are not the perfect loudspeaker, but they make much truer music than what I have now. Also, the price I paid is less than...
