Looking Good!

Those are some beautiful drivers! Is there somewhere that one can read discussions on how these drivers are being used that includes relating it all back to listening to Music? The stuff I have run across has been limited to quasi-technical ideas and visual “audio porn”. I am aware of the natural sound guy and his following that discuss sound, but still not much in the way of Music, per se. Even so, that’s a start. Anyone? It’s a shame to leave things so well made out of context. I only heard one 2-way Vitavox PA speaker, a very long time ago. I thought at the time it had amazing upper bass, listening to Blue Note jazz, compared to A7s/515Bs I owned/used at the time. That’s also where/when I got the idea that the S2 own sound was like a metal zipper. Tempus Fugit!>>

Antonin Artaud

The Truth is, from an engineering point of view, I am no fan of the sound quality of ANY of the beautiful looking Vitavox drivers, past or present. The only Vitavox horn design I appreciate is the thunderbolt, but used with alternative woofers.

I am from a different generation than some of the posters here. I am not trying to put unsuspecting people under psychoacoustical mind control. Not everyone can think as big as I do.

From an engineering point of view, the ONLY LAMM products I would choose to listen to are as follows:

LAMM : LP1 Signature Phono Preamplifier

LAMM : L2.1 Reference Preamplifier

LAMM : M1.2 Reference Amp

IQ Classification <- Amplifier/Transducer Synergy <- Rushing to conclusivity

"Conclusivity refers to the quality of being final, decisive, and putting an end to debate, doubt, or further questioning, often regarding evidence, arguments, or contractual agreements. It signifies that a matter is settled, particularly in legal contexts like construction contracts."

Cardiovascular Monitoring

Just developed a 2-Way Monitor specifically-designed to enable end users to entrain their consciousness towards monitoring their own cardiovascular activity in real time as a trainable skill.

It uses a Bliesma tweeter on an EV Horn and a McCauley woofer in a sealed box. Associated electronics and cabling are yet to be determined.

However, in my view how many people on this planet *deserve* to be able to purchase a Tool like this, simply by plopping down some cash to someone? Are you a rich person? Are you a poor person. How do we measure deservedness? Should 'deservedness' be directly linked to a personality Trait report card from a certain organization.

ALTEC GEAR

I am a big fan of the ALTEC 515-8GHP and 515-16GHP.

In recent years, I became increasingly dismissive of the 1.375" ALTEC driver family. However, upon further continued engineering analysis, I have determined that if used correctly, some of the drivers are of high merit.

There are now a variety of aftermarket diaphragms for these drivers.
