fiogf49gjkf0d Yes, a good documentary but made by and for the “academic intelligencia”.
The reality is that the acoustics in Boston Symphony Hall not as great as the scholar
book love to portray. For sure there are more horrible sounding halls but there
are also way more interesting. The Mechanic Hall near Boston, for instance is
WAY more interesting sound then downtown’s Symphony Hall. Anyhow, I would not
take the conversation about “glory” of the Symphony Hall serious.
