Anybody using vacuum hold-down besides me?

I know Micro Seiki made some turntables with vacuum hold-down. Some branded Luxman were produced by MS too. Then there is Basis and the new TechDas. I have a Versa Dynamics 1.2 and when John ran out of mats I worked with him to find a new supplier. If anyone is interested I have a few for sale. I would be happy to let other record player owners try them out and return for refund if they don't work out. Playing records with vacuum hold-down without a mat is not a good idea. I mainly put these back in production for my own use, by the way, but since the minimum order was for 25 I figure I should offer them to others.

I have a micro with vacuum hold down and was in the process of looking for a mat or making one, either out of leather or cutting down a herbie grunge buster. What is the thickness of your mat and what is it made of?

It is 0.5mm thick. I'm out of town this weekend but will try to post a picture when I get back.

After measuring my platter
fiogf49gjkf0d
It seems that the micro seiki platter ends by the inside gasket at 4 3/4 inches and the platter ends by the gasket by the outside edge at 11 inches. The pad would need to be cut to those dimensions for the inside hole and outside diameter to fit. If it does, send me a link or something on how to order or send me a PM.

I don't see any way to PM you. If you look at my profile my email address should be listed though. Still don't see any way to post pictures, sorry.
