New York Times family kills WQXR - hola univision

Sadly the Sulzberger family screwed up yet another iconic business it has been slowly killing. It just sold WQXR, the largest classical radio station in the US, to Univision.
It looks like NY public radio will continue to transmit a substitute program, in some form, on a different frequency.

Quality of FM transmission

is terrible now that theyve been bought out and moved up the dial to 105.9. As if they didnt have enough problems with the technical aspects of their programming, I listened to the broadcast last night and then some of the overnight programming. I only get about 60% reception on my tuner now.
