“The ultimate carbon stick resistors … improve strength.”

I do not know what it is all about as I’m under impression that it you socialize with people on dB-design forum then they will be more responsive about your excitement. I’m not quite sure what the SWING is all about as the guy mentioned and descried the: “The bass system consist of a molded multicellular wood-composite cabinet holding 2 15" bass drivers in a push-push-pull-pull configuration”.

With all my desire to see the bass system I was not able to. Dos it mean that SWING is trying to make bass isobaric bass by that upperbass horn? That would be funny.  Actually the real fun is coming from that picture.

I wonder what kind motivations made him to position his speakers this way? It was a rhetoric question, wasn’t it? Still, until I have an answer to this question I would hardly extend to the Gerner’s comments any creditability…

i never heard before regarding this technique of push pull, ore isobaric design.
i searched the net, and i found it very interesting.

That means when one driver cone is moving out of the enclosure, the other is also, but, due to the way they are mounted, one is moving out of its basket while the other is moving into it. The result of this arrangement is a reduction in even-order harmonic distortion. Also, the enclosure can be smaller and still provide optimum space for the drivers to deliver deep bass.
