Weinberg String Quartet cycle. Manchester UK
Anybody fortunate enough to be in the UK between 24th-27th January 2019 may be interested in this.

I saw this quartet perform the complete cycle of Beethoven quartets last year, they were very good.

Regards

Terry.

Gidon Kremer plays Weinberg
Gidon Kremer and Kremerata Báltica, next weekend in Birmingham, UK, starting Friday the 23rd, will be performing Weinberg’s 24 unaccompanied Preludes
Kremerata Baltica next day as well will be performing Weinberg’s music.
Tickets are cheap and I will go to the first one on Friday. Gidon Kremer has a couple of very recent recordings on ECM with a full Weinberg programme. I’m not familiar with this music but I want to discover it.
Cheers.
