It is not about cataloging but about cutting the 2-4 hours concerts on parts or not. As far as cataloging I do not like tagging and I prefer juts simple sorting. I store all files in separate folders with the name of file corresponding to the name of folders. I have 3 logical drives: Recording, Opera and Orchestral. I have also a Chamber/Instrumental drive but now it is mixed Orchestral with I file it is very easy to sort the folders by name or by recording data in descending order to find what I need… Here is the last two weeks of my Orchestral drive, all from FM.
