Dear Romy, your adventures with PurePower appear to be frustrating. As an alternative, have you considered contacting the equipment maintenance department of a local hospital to discuss equipment that they use to ensure pure power to instruments that can cost millions of dollars. They may even have some surplus or used devices [e.g., using pulse-width-modulated (PWM) electronic voltage regulation (aka EVR) + isolation transformer unit] that you could obtain for little cost that may supply better result than devices targeted to the audio market.
