Dear Romy, advice that I received from Lavry regarding heavy use (6 hours each day) of the DA924 was as follows: "If you really use it that much I would leave it ON but power cycle it one a week. If you don't plan on using if for about 3 days then you should turn it OFF. You may have noticed that when you power it up, it makes you wait a few minutes as it performs a calibration.
