Well, that orchestra is higher level then usually visits the middle of Massachusetts : -)  Still, regardless who they are it always faun to hear orchestra on tours. It is lottery and it might be anything but sometimes a tour performance might but such a pearl that it might be a life-time experience. I hour case the Worcester concert is the very last concert in the US tour and who know, they might throw some “interesting” play.

BTW, if you are interring about the orchestra then you might get some of their recoding lead by Evgeny Svetlanov.

Some of his recordings were good, particularly the Russian repertoire and particularly from 60s. BTW, up to now I never heard anybody play Glinka and wild as Svetlanov did.

Mark Gorenstein is a very interesting fruit. Find his recording from 90s where he led the kinds from State Young Symphony Orchestra – you will love what he was trying to do.
