In this forum dedicated to satire and mockery of audio bogusness I will mention Eduardo de Lima, the guy who runs Brazilian company AUDIOPAX. Contrary to what would be expected from me at THIS forum of my site (pretentiously calls “World Audio News”) I have no intention make fun about Eduardo.

I have to tell you honesty I like the guy. Eduardo has a very different from most of Hi-Fi manufactures attitude toward himself and his “arrangement in audio”. Also, I like very much the way how he thinks about amplifiers. He has that “ever present wondering of a child” and it is real pleasure to talk with him about audio and about interactions of our stupid egos with our consciousness. I sincerely feel that form the fertile soul of THAT type of awareness the great audio decisions might derive….

I heard it two years ago at CES and it was like any other amps at the show. Still, something intrigues me in that amp and I would like to propose to whoever has more access to this amplifier to give it a try in intelligent manor. Some things that Eduardo wants to do or at least wants to say (read his white papers) make his amps (I think) very promising or at least interesting to get familiar with.

The AUDIOPAX amplifiers are defiantly for my point of view the machines to watch. Eduardo is relatively recently in the “big high-end audio” business and he has another couple years before he will be “fucked” by the audio industry and will become like “the rest of them”.  If someone well-familiar with Eduardo’s amps then please post your feelings on the subject.
