-I've been spending what.. a year now thinking that it was supposed to behave like that! 
Introducing a gap of 8-14 millimeters changes the sound from TOOT to GRLONK to BRrLrAOM.
Without back chamber it's quite dull. Like BLooong.
These millimeters will be fun to play with.
