Of course, all this stuff is new to me, but it looks to me like mostly contemporary instruments here, but nice sound and presentation without overdoing it. When you (Robin) said original score was bare, I immediately started thinking, improvisation. I suppose that's yet another realm for historical musicologists and musicians here. Pretty cool.
