is that something controllable or is that something that happens to the listener by playing back expressive music through an expressive system? I agree that the term resolution is not used in a comprehensive sense by the absolute sound crowd. It is much more holistic and involved. It’s basically a resolving of the information captured in the recording through to how the music is expressed to the listener. Is it the message in the brain of the composer getting to the soul of the listener? It is surely more than pixels or bits. Rerurn to Romy the Cat's Site
