Taking note that the DC condition is present when you say the power is cleanest yet Pure Power does not help leads one to want to investigate a high current DC blocker BEFORE the PP. Its possible that heavy DC could effect the PP in some way. Most DC blockers only work to block a few millivolts up to just under 1V of DC .
