I would, of course, be more forthright when discussing what I felt were the plus or minus points of a friends system. They would be familiar with the system I have, the sound I like etc. I would know that my comments would have no effect on our relationship. It's a different thing with strangers. They don't know what you like, what you consider to be correct or wrong and unless you can take them home and show them a different way of doing things there isn't much you can do (unless it is obvious that the speakers are wrongly positioned or the cartridge is misbehaving)Rerurn to Romy the Cat's Site
