I am more familiar with the Opera world but I would guess that State subsidies are going down rather than up for Euro orchestras. So there may well be pressure to earn money from alternative sources. I am not saying that this is the best way to get the dough. Perhaps the musicians will put product logos on their sleeves or instruments?
