I have an opinion, admittedly "based" on only a few personal experiences, that basement rooms are very good for developing low bass response. It has something to do with the absolute rigidity of the majority of the room boundaries, again just in my opinion. You should definitely do something serious with that space, the only question being if it should be the Opera Room or the actual main Listening Room (Macondo-Melqiades Room).Rerurn to Romy the Cat's Site
