Thanks for the tip! I forgot I had that one. I will give it another listen today at work.
The thing that amazes me about Cohen is how is voice gets better with age instead of worse. I like Paul McCartney's latest record ("New") too but his voice has really gone downhill. I don't particularly care for Cohen's voice in his early recordings but that could be because I discovered him about the time you did.
