I wonder how many of those who feel the need to use a pp have tried other double conversion devices. Rather as with amplifiers it is the core topology that matters most. A pp is just a double conversion ups, there is no other innovation in there that the manufacturer can point to. (And if there were they would be shouting about it). A device with the same topology and quiet fans will likely be much closer in performance than the price differential would justify.Rerurn to Romy the Cat's Site
