Well, it is hard to say. The turntable might be good or bad but the company behind it smell kind of peculiar. They sent t to Lavigne a prototype of their new TT for “evaluation” and they allow him to run his mouth about it. The prototypes shall not be discussed publicly; this is the way how the games played. I have many prototypes that were sent to me by different manufactures and no one ever hear from me about is – this is the definition of on-field testing of a prototype. I wonder why a company ever sends prototypes out. Do they need an input from users and they do not know how it shall sound? Will they change this “revolutionary design” if some kind of idiot would inform them that his Lad zeppelin has not good bass with this TT? It does not “look” fishy, it is fishy. If you add to this the fact that that company appointed Jonathan Tinn as their rep then you very much understand what kind awareness stays behind the company. Jonathan Tinn is perfect to sell from one poket the pipe bombs to Arabic terrorists and from another hands the blood supplied to Israeli emergency rooms. Thankfully we all know how it will end up. In a couple years a new wave will come and it will be a legion of fucked by Jonathan Tinn customers out there with another lawsuit between Tinn and Wave Kinetics. The artistry of Jonathan Tinn and the people like him is their phonebook with the address of idiots-audiophiles who are vulnerable to buy into a new revolution BS. The actual sound of a product is absolutely irrelevant as it is not the subject. The time comes, a new product is loaded into the sales arbalet and the Tinn-like hunters behind heir hunting by matching the idiocy a customer with the specific misery of audio product.
