The people who have 3 arms on a single turntable know the problem. The tonearm on the right is the best - easy access by hand and easy to see the needle lowering location. The tonearm in the top of TT, the furthers tonearm has a perfect view of the cartridge lowering location but you need to be careful with your hands as if you were a wade sleeve then it might damage the arm on the right. Raise your hand whoever did it. The arm at the bottom of the turntable – the closes has the best access – it right in from of you.  But if this arm is long and particularly use the J-shape tube then the cartridge’s needle is invisible and it is very uncomfortable. So, here is what I invented – I installed a magnifying parabolic mirror to see the front of the cartridge – very, very comfortable.
