I had today a fantastic listening experience and made today a stunning discovery.

I was very exhausted today, did not feel good – a life of self-employed contractors sometimes we need to work while sick… Dot home, had a lot of work to do and in evening, practically without feel own legs I crashed myself in my listening chair.  It was hot in the room, so I turned the ceiling fans. The open doors and windows made a nice chaotic wind in the room. I lighted up Cohiba, took remote and I hit the play on the CD player. Whatever is there… Not surprisingly the CD that was in the player was Bruckner 9…

Then it started. The breeze in the room, the waves of airstreams begin to talk with Sound waves of the Bruckner’s superlative first movement. It was fantastic, truly fantastic!

I wonder, why do not capitalize on it.  The fans might me driven by eclectic signal from the symphony, in fact the wind signal might be written specifically and separately. What I truly would like to have is a pedal next to my foot that would control the wind in my room and I would like to ride it while Bruckner is being played.

I spend my childhood near see. In my teens I made a few trips as a seaman on commercial ship.  Living next to sea I have seen some very means storms, some of them were so picturesque and so expressive visually and  sonically that those memoirs will be living with me to the rest of my live. My long time wet dream of an orchestra at the full force plays atop granite cliff with 30-40 feet waves are crashing at the cliff. What I had with fans in that room and Bruckner was as far as possible from that wet dream of my  but it was as close as I think I even will be possible. Well, to drive a pedal with propeller is much easier then learn conducting, isn’t it?
