Well, people know my unhealthy love to “invent” the things and to grant to the “inventions” stupid naming conventions.

Guilty but do not care.

Here is another bright idea – the DPDP consept.

Audio people spend time socializing online, patting each other on the back and participating in stupid social interactions. Some of them know math, some of them know electronics, some of them know mechanics some of them know music, some of them can hear and some of them know how to hear and what to hear. Everyone have own flows and problem but as a composite awareness the accumulation if many’s people best is more able then the best capacity of a one. The problems is that the best in composite awareness need to be filtered out properly and correctly put in perspective with other best expression of singular awareness.  That is normal, everyone would agree with it and I do not think anyone would argue with it. Did you pay attention that it does not exist in audio?

So, I announce the DPDP time open. The DPDP comes from Distributed Public Design Project. The idea behind it that a singular audio task is allocated, let say it would be a creation of “perfect” compression driver, or a perfect power regenerator, or a perfect cartridge. Then created as dedicated integrative audio site where all people begin to contribute their ideas, knowledge, and experiences into propelling the design, implementation and testing of this singular audio task. No single person or group of the people owns anything, everything is wide-open and public. The only interest that everyone has is to find out how to make the perfect UPS device,  or a driver, or a cartridge. The project is professionally managed: with spreadsheets, with analyses of data, with cost-benefit analyses, with appraising of proposals and correlation of results.

I have no idea why it is not being practiced widely. If attacking of audio problems would take place via DPDP then the price of the solutions would be absolutely negligible and the quality of audio solutions would be astronomically high. Moreover it would address my personal interest: of the DPDP would be practice in audio widely then even the most retarded audio Moron will understand eventually that the army of the audio industry cockroaches may be eradicated as a blood-sucking parasite.

I have a dream…
