Romy,
Did the Model 19's have foam around the mouth of the 811b horns when you listened to them? Apparently the original foam normally deteriorates with age. I have noticed that there is a noticeable reduction of horn coloration (honk) when the foam is around the mouth.You mentioned that the Model 19 could be improved significantly with a different horn which I am in complete agreement. Is it possible to find another horn that will fit the existing cutout in the Model 19 cabinet? Best regards,DonRerurn to Romy the Cat's Site
