I am curious how the Lindberg piece came across WGBH last night.
Here in Chicago WFMT had the live feed.The results in my home were poor at best. It seemed my system was completely overwhelmed by what Magnus the Great offered. I just don't know where the problem was. My tuner, my system, the broadcast, the recording?New York times loved the work. What to me sounded like Hornets through a lose wire, Mr Tommasini apparently describes as "quick bursts of strangely ominous fiddle-faddle".Are the same sound-engineers involved at Avery Fisher Hall as at the Met?I am ready to choose a program for recording on my Mac.
