I think PQ is reading this site. ^^

PQ is a very good storyteller, but he does not have the vocabulary to say anything else besides 'this is better' or 'this sounds terrible'.His shtick is exotic materials and iconoclasm which is supposed to translate into "our products are better".
But HOW are they better in terms of sound and music?
He has convinced us that he is a better nerd than the other nerds. I am not sure how that is helpful...

This is exactly one of the subjects in the video.

I'm sorry but all I hear is 1 hour and 30 minutes sales pitch. Can you timestamp the place in the video?
Best,Kris

I don't remember from my head and would need to watch the video again, and I don't have time right now to watch it again, but IIRC that was about 35min.

At the same time, while I do agree with your initial argument, this is very easy to know what is better/horrible means when that come from a audio product maker which has a specific "house sound" and characteristics like Audio Note, Jadis, or Tune Audio relying on semantics. Better means you go deeper into that house sound, while horrible means you are far from that reference. There is no panacea to understand that for me, unless they are lying of course.

Btw, that was the first time I heard a reasonable explanation about why use 3 motors in a turntable instead of one.

I've saw this video already, they are working on that amplifier for couple/few years already, but I am more interested on the 'valve volume control' they are developing.
