In beginning of May Sir Simon Rattle take Berliner Philharmoniker on the ride over Bruckner’s Symphony No. 8. Kitty and I will be attending both concerts 5 and 6 May and will be spending the week in Berlin. The reticules German people sell ticket on line like any other orchestra but for this performance they want people to stop by in box office or to call. A major annoyance!!!

Anyhow, can Germans or whoever recommend good seats to listen my Bruckner? The Hall plan looks a bit “strange” and it is hard to say where is nice to be…

The best seats are the block A ( more expensive ) but 10 days ago they were already sold out; I have found only a pair of tickets for block B ( monday 8 may ) It's the first time for me too at Berlin

We got tickets for both days, the most expensive they had and it looks like still not the best seats. Oh, well. It is what it is. There is no such a thing is bad tickets to hear Bruckner 8 in Berlin.

Just now I have received the confirmation about B7 with Blomstedt and Wiener at Salzburg. After B8 with Rattle and Berliner and B4 always  with Blomstedt and Staadtskapelle at Dresda ( together Beethoven  PC3 with Schiff ) I think I have to say thanks to Romy, without this thread I would never made these reservations...
